We're looking for a Product Owner to lead the change in developing battery systems that not only meet this demand but also drive Xolta's mission to contribute to a sustainable future.
You will join an experienced international team dedicated to developing impactful lasting products to propel the advance of renewable energy. On top of the physical energy storage batteries, the XOLTA offering consists of a cloud-based platform for energy optimization, reseller support functions and end user interface to the products.
XOLTA A/S is owned by the charitable foundation Ebbefos Foundation focusing on children's well-being.
About the role.
As a Technical Product Owner for our home battery solutions, you will be instrumental in creating products that enable homeowners to gain energy independence. This role requires a hands-on approach to define product vision, gather requirements, and work closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality products that meet our customers' energy storage needs.
The Product Owner takes responsibility for prioritized development projects from start to market launch and subsequent continuous performance monitoring. To be successful in the role you naturally seek and engage yourself in dialogue with all relevant internal and external stakeholders. You gather requirements and market data which you systematically collect, structure, and analyze to become the basis for sound business plans.
Product Management is a support function within Xolta, and it is therefore expected that you have a service minded and positive attitude while having the stamina to fend scope and align expectations for successful personal and departments deliveries.
General responsibilities
- Take ownership of the Xolta home battery solutions product portfolio.
- Define and prioritize the product roadmap based on market research data aligned with the overall product strategy.
- Acquire and support your colleagues with technical knowhow on your portfolio products.
- Drive the engineering to ensure successful development, implementation, and maintenance of products and services
- Support innovation through identifying, incubating, and maturing promising new ideas.
- Develop well founded business cases and facilitate go-to-market planning and actions.
- Conduct market research and stay informed of industry trends, competitive activity, and evolving market and customer needs.
- Provide management reporting on development projects and product performance.
- Conduct in-depth product training to relevant teams.
The ideal applicant will have most of the qualifications below:
- You most likely have 5-10years experience from a similar role within a larger industry related company.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree education level preferably with a technical foundation.
- Analytical and structured approach to your work.
- Project management track record.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a hands-on, can-do approach.
- Commandment of English written and spoken as second nature. Additional German language is an advantage but not a must have.
