You will join an experienced international team dedicated to developing impactful lasting products to propel the advance of renewable energy. On top of the physical energy storage batteries, the XOLTA offering consists of a cloud-based platform for energy optimization, reseller support functions and end user interface to the products.

About The Role.
As a Software Engineer in our Software Development team you will be part of an agile team that is working on the cloud-hosted parts of our platform. If you have dipped your toes into the IoT pool either as part of your professional role or as a hobbyist, it is definitely a huge plus. You will work closely with the rest of our R&D department, spanning from Mechanical Engineers working on the physical enclosures, to Electrical Engineers designing circuits for controlling the various parts of our battery systems.
Your responsibility will be to deliver quality code into our Azure hosted platform. Part of this is to participate in Refinement sessions, Code Reviews, as well as lifting the general quality of the code base.
You are expected to have a curious mindset and actively seek out knowledge to help you understand and solve problems within the domain. You are a team player and is used to sometimes having to seek compromises with other team members.
General responsibilities in the job.
- Analysis of tasks to deliver the right solution to the right problem.
- Break down of bigger features into smaller tasks.
- Development of the actual features.
- Help out with doing QA.
- Collaborate with other team members on both solving the tasks at hand but also on delivering a great product as a team.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as Software Engineer, working on SaaS products.
- Education: Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics.
- Profound experience with coding in C#.
- Profound experience handling structured data and working with complex datasets and services.
- Profound experience with Azure cloud technologies (IoT Hub, SQL server, Stream Analytics, Service Fabric)
- Experience with Node.js or React is a plus but not required.
