You will join an experienced international and passionate team, dedicated to the green transition through developing impactful lasting products and services to propel the advance of renewable energy. On top of the physical energy storage products and battery packs, the XOLTA offering consists of a cloud-based platform for energy optimization, reseller support functions and end-user interface to the products.

About The Role.

As a Technical Support Engineer at Xolta, you will be an integral part of a service team that comprises customer support, professional services and field support. You will play a crucial role in helping our end-users and installers by addressing technical inquiries, resolving software and hardware issues, and delivering outstanding customer experience. This position demands a blend of technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and strong communication abilities.

General responsibilities for you to drive and own.

  • Provide timely and effective solutions to technical inquiries through various communication channels, including email, phone, and online platforms.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware related issues.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to resolve complex technical problems and identify underlying causes.

  • Document and track own support cases, providing timely and accurate updates throughout the troubleshooting process.

  • Fully document the resolution of each case to aid customers and internal teams in independently addressing common or known issues.Actively contribute to improving support tools and processes, and to streamline customer interactions and issue resolution.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Experience/Qualifications for the ideal candidate.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a technical support or engineering role.

  • Knowledge of battery technologies, specifically in the context of grid support and energy storage, is considered an advantage.

  • Proven ability to analyze, diagnose, and solve complex technical problems using remote troubleshooting tools such as TeamViewer and Wireshark.

  • Fluent in Danish and English, both spoken and written – another language such as German is considered an advantage.

  • Ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.

  • Strong customer service orientation with a dedication to meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering and production.

  • A quick learner with the willingness to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management and documentation skills.

  • Experience prioritizing and managing multiple service-level agreements in a case handling system – knowledge of Zendesk, FreshDesk or Hubspot is considered an advantage.
